Marcela Ramirez, FNP-C

Marcela is a Nurse Practitioner who has been with SBA Dermatology for 25 years, specializing in cosmetic dermatology. She uses lasers, energy-based devices, fillers, neuromodulators, and medical-grade skincare to offer each patient the best possible aesthetic outcomes. A proud Houstonian and Texan, Marcela graduated from St. Agnes Academy in 1996 and earned her first Bachelor of Science degree in 2000 from Texas A&M University in College Station.

After completing an internship at SBA Dermatology under the tutelage of Dr. Suzanne Bruce, she went on to earn her second Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating with high honors from UT Health Science Center in the Texas Medical Center in 2003. Driven by her passion for lifelong learning, Marcela returned to UT Health and earned her Master of Science in Nursing in 2015—again with high honors.

Marcela is known for her expert clinical judgment and patient-centered approach. She combines advanced medical knowledge with a keen aesthetic eye to deliver personalized care that enhances both skin health and self-confidence. With a reputation for being approachable, detail-oriented, and results-driven, she is deeply committed to educating patients and creating customized treatment plans that align with their goals and lifestyle.
